Cindy DeFrancesco joined Mainland as its Executive Vice President in 2022. Over her nearly 30 year career in high-profile, urban development & operations, Cindy has led teams focused on underwriting, design, operations, marketing, and capital formation serving multiple leading developers throughout the East Coast.

Her chief goal through her career has been to both create value to investors while leaving behind a meaningful legacy for the communities she has served.

A Maryland native, Cindy chose to move to Nashville in order to raise her family in both an active real estate market and a great family environment. Cindy and her husband, Jay, live in Brentwood, Tennessee and enjoy time with their son and daughter, Jack and Ava. Jack and Ava are both SEC rivals which makes for fun family weekends cheering for opposing teams.

Outside of the office, Cindy enjoys dancing and she is a voracious reader enjoying 3-4 books a month on topics spanning historical fiction to true crime and leadership/development. Finally, she and Jay continue a 25 year legacy of trips to Cabo, continuing to enjoy the beautiful Baja peninsula and the friends and community they have found there along the way.
